Missouri Western junior goalkeeper Kelly Voigts of Olathe, Kan. received Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors which was released by the MIAA office on Wednesday, November 2.  Western finished their season 4-10 overall and 1-7 in MIAA under first year head coach Chad Edwards.

Voigts started all 14 games for the Griffons recoding 113 saves. She averaged 8.07 saves per contest with a .801 save percentage. She allowed 28 goals for an average of 1.99 per game finishing the season with a 4-10 record.

She recorded one shutout which was a 2-0 victory on September 4, 2011 against Southwestern Oklahoma State University in the MIAA/GAC Challenge which was hosted by East Central University in Ada, Okla. The victory was the first of her career. She is tied for the most victories in a season by a Griffon goalkeeper with four as she tied Shaylynn Milbourn (2007), Joyce Endicott (2009) and Jenna Weis (2009). She is first for most saves per game in a season and career averaging 8.07 per contest.
