Missouri Western soccer player Molly Slattery was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 Second Team as voted on by the districts Sports Information Directors. This marks the second time in her career that she has been named to a district team. She was third team district 7 in 2009.

Slattery a senior defender out of Eklhorn, Neb. holds a 3.84 GPA in biology/health sciences and played in 70 games while a member of the Griffons. In her career she had 23 shots with six on goal from her defender position.

The Griffons finished the 2011 campaign with a 4-10 overall record and 1-7 in MIAA play.
