The Missouri Western women’s basketball team lost to Colorado Christian Saturday, 69-64. The Griffons went 1-1 on their trip to Colorado and fell to 1-2 on the season. The women will head to Kansas City for a matchup with Rockhurst on Nov. 22.
The Griffons took a one point lead to halftime after stretching to a six point lead with 6:36 to go in the half. Western shot 28.6 percent from the field and 9 percent from behind the arc in the game and trailed by as many as 18 in the second half.

Alicia Bell led the Griffons with 16 points. Bell added six rebounds. Jessica Koch finished with a double-double; scoring 14 points and leading the Griffons with 10 rebounds. Brittany Cassady scored nine points and Brittany Griswold added seven.
