JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – Missouri motorists can get updates about road conditions through their smartphones.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has launched a smartphone application that will provide information about work zones, flooding and accidents on Missouri roads from the MoDOT website.

The smartphone app will also provide radar images from the National Weather Service. It’s available at the iPhone App Store and the Android Marketplace.
