The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club has released LB Demorrio Williams.
Williams (6-1, 232) appeared in 60 games (22 starts) with the Kansas City Chiefs (2008-11). In four seasons, Williams tallied 237 tackles (155 solo) with 1.0 sack (-2.0 yards), a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, five passes defensed and three QB pressures. Williams also notched 33 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on special teams.
Prior to joining the Chiefs, Williams spent four seasons in Atlanta (2004-07). His career numbers include 124 games played (65 starts) with 594 tackles (384 solo), 7.5 sacks (-39.5 yards), five INTs, 13 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Williams owns 54 special teams tackles and two blocked kicks.
