Chiefs re-sign DL Amon Gordon

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that the club has re-signed DL Amon Gordon.

Gordon (6-2, 305) has played in 33 games (six starts) with Kansas City (2011), Seattle (2010), Tennessee (2008, 2010), Baltimore (2007), Denver (2007) and Cleveland (2004-05). He has tallied 57 tackles (36 solo), 2.0 sacks (-13 yards), two passes defensed, one forced fumble and two QB pressures.

Last season with Kansas City, Gordon notched 20 tackles (12 solo) with 2.0 sacks (-13 yards), a QB pressure and a pass defensed.

The San Diego, Calif., native posted 71 tackles (43 solo), 7.0 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and six passes defensed as a senior at Stanford. Gordon gained 1,353 rushing yards with 19 touchdowns as a senior running back at Mira Mesa High School in San Diego, Calif.
