CLINTON, Mo. (AP) – A northwest Missouri man was shot to death while sitting in his truck and law officers are looking for a neighbor who had an ongoing feud with the victim.

Authorities say 66-year-old Rudy Romdall of rural Clinton was shot Monday while sitting in his truck near Tightwad in southern Henry County.

Authorities are looking for 67-year-old Lonny Leroy Mays in connection with the shooting.

The Henry County Sheriff’s office says Mays and Romdall were involved in a disturbance early Monday and Mays was believed to be in a vehicle that was seen driving away from the intersection where Romdall’s body was found.

Officers have been called to the Sky Village development several times in recent months after reports of confrontations involving Mays, Romdall and other neighbors.
