MWSU’s Bird named to All-MIAA women’s golf team

Missouri Western junior women’s golfer Natalie Bird from Carl Junction, Mo. has been named to the 2012 All-MIAA Women’s Golf team which was announced Wednesday afternoon. This marks the second consecutive season that Bird has been named to the squad.

This past season Bird finished in the top 10 in eight of the Griffons 11 events which included two second place finishes and two third place finishes. Bird played 22 rounds with a scoring average of 83 and a low round of 76.

Bird also helped her team to nine top ten finishes which included two first place finishes and five second place finishes.
