Missouri Man Charged With Murder In Minnesota

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) – A Missouri man has been charged in the murders of a Minnesota daycare provider and her elderly parents
in what authorities believe was a botched effort to find a teenager who accused him of rape.

Police said Monday that 34-year-old Eddie Matthew Mosley of St. Louis is facing three counts of intentional second-degree murder for the April 9 shootings.

Police said Mosley believed the teenager stayed with Brown.

But the girl was no longer going to Brown’s home.

Authorities say Mosley shot 59-year-old DeLois Brown and her parents, 82-year-old James Bolden and 81-year-old Clover Bolden, in Brown’s home in Brooklyn Park, a Minneapolis suburb.

Mosley’s defense attorney in the rape case didn’t immediately return a message Monday seeking comment.
