Federal authorities are seeking the public’s help in rounding up a fugitive gang member from western Kansas who is under indictment in that city’s massive racketeering probe.
A federal grand jury last week indicted two dozen members of a violent street gang in Dodge City, known as the “Nortenos,” on 38 counts of racketeering, conspiracy, murder, ten armed assaults, drug and firearms charges.
US Attorney Barry Grissom says the gang preyed on Guatemalan immigrants who work in beef packing plants.
Authorities need your help locating Joshua Cain Flores (aka “Big Knox”). Among the charges filed in the indictment, Flores is charged with assault with a firearm in furtherance of the Norteno gang’s racketeering activity.
Flores is also wanted by the Kansas Department of Corrections for being a parole absconder.
He has been known to carry weapons in the past and should be considered armed and dangerous. No member of the public should attempt to apprehend Flores themselves but rather contact law enforcement immediately.
Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of FLORES should contact ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS or 316-269-6229 or the Dodge City Police Department at 620-225-8126.
