Police have launched an investigation and are trying to track down whoever vandalized a Picasso painting at a Texas art museum. It happened at The Menil Collection in Houston.
This cell-phone video uploaded to YouTube last week appears to show the vandal carrying out the crime, defacing the original 1929 work of art with spray paint.
Museum officials say the Picasso has already been restored and the vandal’s paint was successfully removed. The museum near St. Thomas University features more than 15-thousand works of art and has had Picasso’s “Woman in Red Arm Chair” in its collection since the late 1950s.
