Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket tonight at the funerals of two murdered Platte County sisters. The church says God caused the killings of 22 year old Ashley Key and 19 year old Britney Harrup to punish Missouri and specifically Platte County for allegedly mistreating church members. The church website claims a Platte County Sheriff’s vehicle tried to run church members off the road.

Picketing is planned for 6:45 tonight at the Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton. 31 year old Clifford Miller of Trimble has been charged with two counts of first degree murder in the killings.
