Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has appointed a Leawood attorney to the Tenth Judicial District bench. Christina Marie Dunn will take the seat of retiring Judge Allen R. Slater.

Dunn is currently a partner at Gellenborg & Dunn P.A. in Olathe. She received her law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1994.

Her professional legal experience also includes serving on the Johnson County Bar Association Board of Directors and serving in the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Dunn was one of three names submitted to the Governor by the 10th Judicial District Nominating Commission. The 10th Judicial District manages Johnson County.
