Two kids from St Joseph have qualified for bigger and better things after a strong finish at the Missouri State Pedal Tractor Pull finals at the Missouri State Fair.

Walker Larson took first in his age group. Five-year-old Devin Herring took second. Both qualify for the nationals.

 

Other local finishers included 10-year-old Courtney Osborn and 9-year-old Luis Guerrero. Osborn finished fourth in her age group, while Guerrero finished fifth.

Ken Myers, the chairman of the Missouri State Pedal Pull Association tells us that the top three finishers in each age group qualify for the national finals, which are scheduled September 22 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell South Dakota.
