The FBI continues its search for the bank robber they’ve dubbed the “Bucket List Bandit.” The man, believed to be about 60, has allegedly robbed nine banks in eight states since June.
He was given the name after he told a teller he has only a few months to live.
Investigators are using digital billboards around the country seeking information.
The most recent holdup was at a branch of the Lindell Bank in the St Louis suburb of O’Fallon on August 30.
He’s also suspected of robberies in Columbia, Missouri and in Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, North Carolina, Tennessee and Illinois.
The FBI says the man appears to be a creature of habit, wearing the same blue polo shirt and jeans in each robbery. He has a gray mustache and wears glasses. The suspect was seen in a black SUV, authorities say, may be a Chevrolet Captiva, the FBI said.
