Motorists in Livingston County were forced to navigate an obstacle course along U.S. 36 highway Monday night.
Sheriff Steve Cox says a large metal wagon wheel was left in the westbound lanes of the highway near County Road 255. Cox says multiple vehicles ran over the wheel.
It’s not clear how many motorists hit the obstacle, but at least one left parts of their vehicle in the roadway.
Cox says there was one report of a Ford Escape that was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
A deputy was able to remove the debris.
