The Platte County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a 63-year-old California man who they say had a large amount of marijuana.

On October 26, 2012,  Sheriff’s deputies arrested Paul M. Dressen, of Sonoma, California, as part of a narcotics investigation.

In a news release, officials say Mr. Dressen was arrested in possession of approximately 89 pounds of marijuana that was concealed in large duffle bags.

Mr. Dressen has been charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute.   He was arraigned Monday.  A judge set a $50,000 cash only bond.  His lawyer has filed a motion to reduce bond.
