Griffons remain No. 11 in AFAC Top 25 poll

The Missouri Western football team stayed 11th in this weeks AFCA Coaches Poll which was released Monday morning.

The Griffons are coming off a 56-28 victory over the then 25th ranked Washburn Ichabods on Senior Day in St. Joseph, Mo. The victory marked the third consecutive victory over a top-25 team.

This week the Griffons take on its fourth consecutive top-25 team when they travel to Maryville, Mo. to take on the 4th ranked Bearcats of Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, November 10.  Kickoff is set for 2:37 pm in Bearcat Stadium. The game will be broadcasted on the MIAA Broadcasting Network and the winner will win the MIAA Regular Season Championship.

MWSU is 9-1 overall and 8-1in MIAA play. The Griffons have been ranked in the top 25 in the last 18 polls and have received votes in 36 of the last 40coaches polls. This is the 46th time under Partridge that a Griffon team is ranked in the top-25.
