The Salvation Army is urging area residents to take a turn ringing the bell at the Red Kettle Christmas campaign. Captain Dana Cook says each volunteer saves money that would otherwise be paid to cover a kettle shift. There are more shifts to cover this year because Apple Market has joined the list of stores allowing bellringers.

The Red Kettle Campaign kicks off November 16 and continues through December 24…every day except Sundays and Thanksgiving. To volunteer call LeeAnn at 816.232.5824.
