
Police in Independence, Missouri have identified a suspect in a triple homicide that occurred during a home invasion last week.
Authorities are looking for Antonio Cervantes III. He is described a Hispanic male, 32 years old, 5’7″, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Officials say the crime was an isolated incident and that Cervantes had associations with the residents who lived in the home in the 1500 block of South Pope Ave.
Investigators say at least two people broke into the home at about 4:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16, and opened fire.
Killed were Maria Hernandez, 48, her son Antonio Hernandez, 20 and her boyfriend, Tomas Madrigal. Authorities say a fourth person was shot, but that person’s name has not been released.
Cervantes is know to have associations with two addresses 5209 7th St., and 516 Lawndale, in Kansas City, Mo.
