The St Joe Mustangs have released their schedule for the upcoming season, the team’s fifth.

The Mustangs will play a 49 game schedule, 28 of those will be played at Phil Welch Stadium. Included in the home schedule will be the third appearance of the U S Military All-Stars on July 3, a contest vs the Missouri Western alumni baseball team, and two games vs Topeka’s Rossville Rattlers.

Entering their 5th season, the St Joseph Mustangs have established themselves as the team to beat in the MINK League. Coming off consecutive Mink League championships, the Mustangs go into the 2013 season looking for a “Three-peat”.  The Mustangs finished 5th in the NBC World Series last year.

“I think the fans will really enjoy the 5th edition of the Mustangs”, team owner Dan Gerson said recently, “we feel we have put together not only a good schedule, but also a great promotion schedule and another top-of-the-line team. Matt Johnson returns for his fifth season as do Saturday night fireworks and Friday night $1.00 hotdogs and beers.”
