One of the largest miniature Christmas villages ever assembled in Saint Joseph opens Wednesday afternoon at the Rolling Hills Library. Robbie Morton of the Friends of the Library says it’s a tribute to the late Gary Tietz, a Rolling Hills volunteer and longtime Central High School librarian. Christmas was his passion.
The display includes hundreds of ceramic buildings and figurines. It’s open from 2 to 7 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 2 until closing Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all the month of December. The display is free and open to the public.
