Charles Allen Day
1951-2012

Charles Allen Day, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, December 21, 2012 at his residence.
Charles was born September 28, 1951 to Charles and Alberta (Davis) Day.
He married Nancy Conner, who preceded him in death. He later married Linda Davis on September 6, 2003.
Mr. Day worked for the Division of Family Services for the State of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy; father; and sister, Mary Catherine.
Survivors: wife, Linda; son, Chuck Day; daughter, Janice Turner (Gene) and Tina Day (Emil Grimmig); mother; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Ingram (Dick); brother, Kendall Day (Debbie) and Randy Day (Brenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 3:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Betty Sherman
1925-2012

Betty Sherman, 87, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her home.
She was born November 10, 1925 to Arthur and Linnie Todd in Richmond, Missouri.
Betty married Daniel Warren Sherman who was an Attorny at Law.
She worked for Hirsh’s Clothing Store and Clara’s Clothing Store in Sales and Evans Grain Company in Salina, Kansas as an Administrative Assistant.
Mrs. Sherman was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Helen Brower; and brother, Irvan Todd.
Survivors: daughter, Marcy Ann Sherman Lewis (Carl), St. Joseph. Missouri; four grandpuppies, Annie, Sophie, Maggie, and Abby; and nephew, W.C. “Bud” Brower, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Patsy A. Kaplan

Patsy A. Kaplan, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born November 15, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Patsy was an avid sports fan and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Olive Vernie Coffey.
Survivors: daughter, Kris Mayo, Deer Park, Wisconsin; son, Kurt Hochenauer, Edmond, Oklahoma; daughters, Kelle Hennier, Kansas City, Missouri, and Kimberly Luger, Leawood, Kansas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two cousins with whom she was close, Joann Stahlin, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Tama McCann, Miami, Florida.

Barbara A. Foster
1935-2012

Barbara A. Foster, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her home.
She was born December 6, 1935 to Walter and Beulah Coleman in Anniston, Alabama.
At the age of 18, Barbara met Neal, an older Missouri boy who was in the service, through their common friends. They married on May 2, 1954 and resided in the Kansas City/St. Joseph area for much of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was known for reaching out to the quiet person in the room so they felt included. Her friendships spanned the decades based on being the neighbor you could count on for childbearing advice, cooking lessons or a ride to the doctor.
Barbara was a church going woman and embraced the message and songs there. A spirited person, she enjoyed giving or receiving a good story with long doses of laughter, hearty laughter shared with friends of loved ones.
Survivors: husband, Neal W. Foster; three daughters, Marcia Dupree (Emmett), Cindy Foster (Tom Grafton), and Lori Kirkendoll; two grandchildren, Britney Osbern and Lauren Kirkendoll.

Roger Lee Hunt
Pickering, Missouri

Roger Lee Hunt, 39, Pickering, Missouri, died Sunday, December 23, 2012,  at
his home.

Roger was born  October 7, 1973, in Kansas City, Kansas to Samuel Lee and
Claudia Mae (Chaffee) Hunt.

Roger was a graduate of Maryville High School and was employed at KAWASAKI
Motor Corporation, Maryville, as  a team leader.

In 1998 Roger was united in marriage to Angela Vance.  To this union three
children were born.

Preceding Roger in death were his parents and a niece Cassie Geller.

Survivors include his wife Angela Hunt, one son Daniel, two daughters
Makenzie and Elizabeth all of the home, Pickering, Missouri; one brother
Mike Hunt, Graham, Missouri; two sisters Lynne (Joe) Geller, Maryville, and
Kim Manthe, Kansas City, Kansas; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM,  Friday, December 28, 2012, at the
Price Funeral Home Chapel with a Memorial Service following at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Hunt’s body has been cremated and inurnment  will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established for Roger’s Children, in his name.
