The city of St. Joseph will provide for the disposal of “live” Christmas trees once again this year.

The drop off site is the parking lot of Drake Softball Field, located at the northwest corner of 22nd Street and Southwest Parkway.

Residents of the city may drop off trees now through January 27, 2013. All trees must be free of decorations and tree stands, as the trees are put into a chipper and composted.
