Franklin Leo Bohr, Jr., age 71, Graham, Missouri died Saturday, January 5,
2013 at his home in Graham.
Franklin was born July 7, 1941 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Franklin
Leo Sr. and Dorothy B. (Hawkins) Bohr Pierson.
He was a graduate of Easton High School, Easton, Missouri and a member of
East Side Baptist Church, St. Joseph.
Franklin had started working for St. Joseph Light and Power as a lineman
working up to and retiring as a supervisor.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and one grandson Matthew Bohr.
Survivors include his special friend Jenevieve Talbott, Graham; daughter
Andrea D. (Judy) Bohr, Orlando, Florida; one son Dave (Susan) Bohr, Memphis,
Tennessee; two grandchildren Jacob and Elizabeth Bohr, St. Joseph.
Mr. Bohr’s body has been cremated. A visitation celebrating Franklin’s life
will be held from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Price Funeral Home
Chapel in Maryville, Missouri.

Martha Rowlene Dawson, 95 of Burlington Junction, Missouri died on Sunday,
January 6, 2013 at Parkdale Manor Care Center with her family at her side.
Martha was born February 22, 1917 in Quitman, Missouri the daughter of
Ernest Fleet and Blanche (Job) Shelton.
Martha was a graduate of Quitman High School. She attended cosmetology
school before working as a beautician prior to her marriage. Martha was a
member of the Clearmont Christian Church and a member of the Rosanna Chapter
Order of the Eastern Star.
Martha was united in marriage to Elmer Francis Dawson, July 15, 1941 in
Maryville, Missouri. Elmer preceded her in death on August 8, 1991. Her son
Francis Nelson Dawson also preceded her death. Others preceding her in death
were her parents, three brothers Truman, Bill and Edward Shelton; and a twin
sister Georgia Headrick.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (Janice) Dawson, Burlington Junction, MO.,
Kurby (Barb) Dawson, Kansas City MO., a daughter Sandra Kay (Phil) Little
St. Joseph, MO., five grand children and twelve great grandchildren, two
sister-in-laws Beverly Shelton, Independence, MO. and Charlene Green, Costa
Mesa, CA., several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, friend and caregiver
Fern Yoder.
There will be a visitation at 10 am Wednesday at Price Funeral Home prior to
the funeral service at 11am.
Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery Maryville, MO.
Memorials are suggested to SSM Hospice of St. Francis Hospital or Clearmont
Christian Church.
