One person is dead after fire broke out in a mobile home in the southeast Missouri town of Bell City.

The fire was reported at 11:55 p.m. Sunday. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. Crews spent much of the night putting out the fire.

Details about the victim have not been released. The mobile home was destroyed.
