A Blue Springs, Missouri man was seriously hurt in a rollover crash Wednesday morning south of St Joseph.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Michael Caume, 41, was travelling southbound on I-229 at the south junction when his van left the roadway, entered the median and overturned.

The vehicle continued across the northbound lanes before coming to rest in a field north of the interstate.

Caume was suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to Heartland where he was reported in fair condition.
