Trudy Parker, 59, St. Joseph, Missouri died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Trudy was born January 28, 1953 and adopted by Rudolph and Shirley Nichols. She married David L. Parker in May 1988. Trudy Parker was a member of Grace Evangelical Church. Trudy was the owner of Parker Paws Grooming, where she was a well-known dog groomer with clients all over the United States and was devoted to animal rescue. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: husband; brother, Robert Nichols, California; sons, Todd Nichols, California and Toby Nichols, California; step-son, David Parker, Jr., California; step-daughter, Rebekah Parker, California; step-sister, Patricia Nichols; and close friend, Brenda Cox-Bonjour, Topeka, Kansas. Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
