The Kansas City Chiefs were expected to introduce their new general manager Monday afternoon.

The team announced the hiring of John Dorsey over the weekend.

Dorsey is currently the director of football operations for the Green Bay Packers, where he developed close ties with the Chiefs new head coach Andy Reid.

 

The team scheduled a news conference at 2 p.m. Monday to introduce Dorsey. Under the team’s new management structure, Reid and Dorsey will report directly to Chairman Clark Hunt.
