An unusual ATV accident on private property in Nodaway County Thursday evening sent a 65-year-old woman to the hospital with serious injures.

The Missouri State highway Patrol reports the driver was backing out of a closed trailer with a passenger sitting on the tailgate.

The passenger fell off the vehicle when it hit a bump.

The driver was not aware of that, and backed the vehicle over the woman. Marilyn Taber of Parnell, Missouri was hospitalized with serious injuries.
