MSHP patch
Three young children and their mother were hospitalized Saturday morning after a one-vehicle accident east of Jamesport in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Melissa Potts of Kidder was driving west on Missouri Route 6 when her van left the roadway, hit a ditch and went airborne.

The vehicle came to rest south of the highway.

Potts along with her three children on board, Brooklyn Morgan, 3, Tristan Edge, 3 and Zayden Edge 8, all suffered what were described as moderate injuries. They were taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
