Second Harvest Community Food Bank is searching for enthusiastic volunteers to help in its new nonprofit grocery store, Fresh Start.
If you’re interested in volunteering, you should attend the Fresh Start Volunteer Roundup to find out more about our volunteer opportunities.
Second Harvest P.R. Specialist Aaron Smullin says just about everyone qualifies. They’re not looking for any specific skill sets. But Smullin says you should be willing to volunteer for a two-hour shift.
The Fresh Start Volunteer Roundup meeting is Tuesday night, January 22nd, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The meeting is at Second Harvest, 915 Douglas in St Joseph.
Smullin asks that you call ahead to RSVP at (816) 364-3663 (364-FOOD).
