Snow on a Nodaway County Highway contributed to an accident with serious injuries Tuesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Shane Adwell, 40,  of Ravenwood lost control of his Oldsmobile along US-136 west of Ravenwood at about 3am.

The vehicle went off the roadway and into an embankment, overturning several times and ejecting Adwell.  He was taken by ambulance to St Francis with serious injuries.
