St Joseph Police are investigating after as many as 40 vehicles parked on St Joe’s east side had been entered and items taken from inside.

Captain Matt Rock says a suspect has been arrested, and a second subject has come forward with information in the case.

Captain Rock says the vehicles were in the Stonecrest neighborhood and in areas north of Frederick from Leonard Road eastward.

He says the suspects chose mostly unlocked vehicles and did not force entry.  Some stolen property has been recovered.
