The Midland Empire Chapter of the American Red Cross will begin its search for a new Chapter Executive Director in February.
Sharon Kennedy, Chair of the Board of Director for the Midland Empire Chapter, says Kevin Kirby will be taking a new position as Gift Planning Officer for the Kansas City Region. Kirby will remain based out of the St. Joseph office and assist eight Red Cross Chapters with fundraising in Gift Planning.
He has served in the position of Executive Director for 17 years at the Midland Empire chapter
The search for a new Executive Director will begin in mid-February and take approximately 3 months.
Sharon Kennedy stated, “Kevin has done an incredible job as Executive Director of our chapter for over 17 years. He has devoted innumerable hours serving our community, and is a passionate advocate for the Red Cross. Through his leadership, our chapter is consistently one of the highest performing chapters in the country. He will be greatly missed, even though he won’t be too far away.”
