A Chillicothe woman was seriously hurt, and her five year old passenger suffered minor injuries, after a one-vehicle crash west of Chillicothe Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Haley Bonderer, 27, lost control of her van along US-36 just after 11:30 a.m. The vehicle rotated 180 degrees and overturned several times.

Bonderer was transported to the Hedrick Medical Center with serious injuries.

Five-year-old Christian Still was also hospitalized with what were described as  minor injuries.
