Butcher, Shirley obit photoShirley C. Butcher 1942-2013 	Shirley C. Butcher, 70, St. Joseph, Missoui died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. 	She was born April 20, 1942 to Ernest and Edna (Varner) Cox in Braymer, Missori and graduated from Penney High School in Hamilton, Missouri. 	Shirley married Hallard Heald, who preceded her in death. She later married Robert “Bob” Butcher on August 13, 1973. 	Mrs. Butcher was a bookkeeper at Midwest Scrap and an EA at H&R Block. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, boating, reading, shopping, sewing, quilting, genealogy, and planning family reunions. 	She was also preceded in death by her parents. 	Survivors: husband, Bob; daughter, Cindy Adams (Tom), Prairie City, Iowa; sons, Rick Heald, Des Moines, Iowa, Stephen Heald (Carmen), Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mark Butcher (Michelle), Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Kristle Heald, Jake Adams (fiancée, Chelsea Young), Molly Adams, Samuel, Zachary, and Matthew Butcher, and Celeste Heald; sister, Mary Louise Smith; brothers, Donnie Cox and Robert Cox (JoAnn); and her extended family and friends including her second families at Midwest Scrap and H&R Block. 	Services: 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. He was born March 24, 1948 to James and Lucille Sheffield in Seattle, Washington. 	James married Cheryl Worthington on June 10, 1993. She survives of the home. 	He was a great handyman and prankster. 	Mr. Sheffield was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Hazel, Ardie, and Willadean. 	Survivors: wife; daughters, Ruth Blackwell (Richard), Emporia, Kansas, Amy Septer, Wichita, Kansas, Melissa Van Belkum, St. Joseph, Missouri, Kristy Bunton (Jeremy), Rolla, Missouri, Mary Sheffield, Springfield, Missouri; son, Dallas Sheffield, St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Jesse and Everett Sheffield; sister, Dixie Moore; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
