A St Joseph man was rushed to Heartland Thursday after a rollover accident on US-59 south of St Joe.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Gary Sterling lost control of his Chevy trying to avoid hitting another vehicle.

He suffered moderate injuries after his vehicle left the highway, hit an embankment and rolled over.

Officials at Heartland said Sterling was in good condition by mid-morning Friday.
