A former Trenton, Mo., man was indicted by a federal grand jury for attempting to produce child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Tammy Dickinson announced that Edward Allen Stieber, 46, now of Brookfield, was charged in a two-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury Wednesday.
The indictment alleges Stieber attempted to use a minor to produce child porn on separate occasions between January 2009 and January 2011.
The indictment identifies the minor only as “Jane Doe.”
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Teresa A. Moore. It was investigated by the Wyoming Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
