Richard Edward Evans, 83, St. Joseph, Missouri passed from this life at his home, surrounded by his loving family February 19, 2013. Richard was born December 26, 1929 at Tipton, Kansas to Robert C. and Clara A. (Simeon) Evans.
He retired from Wire Rope Corporation in 1995 after thirty years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of King Hill Christian Church, where he had served as a deacon.
In addition to his family, Richard loved looking at, working on and talking about old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julius and Robert; and sisters, Carol, Ruth and Jean.
Richard is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Grace; daughter, Linda Robbins (Roger); sons, Rick (Peggy), Roger (Jayme); all of St. Joseph, Missouri. He is also survived by a brother, Larry, Green Valley, Illinois; a sister, Stella Vertin, St. Joseph, Missouri; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, with casual dress preferred. Dennis E. Sipes
1954-2013

Dennis E. Sipes, 59, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his home.
He was born January 11, 1954 to Marcell and Louise Sipes in Fairfax, Missouri.
Dennis married Janice L. Davis on February 16, 1973. She survives of the home.
He was a former member of the San Antonio Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Sipes was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Lannie Sipes; and two granddaughters, Olivia and Jacklyn Sipes.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Shashi Haynes (Doug), Easton, Missouri, Wendy Losson (Harry), Troy, Kansas, and Kerri Gastineau (Levi Krumme), St. Joseph, Missouri; son, James Sipes (Ashley), St. Joseph, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike Sipes (Shannon); and numerous nieces and newphews.
Memorial Services: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Walden, Lenna webLenna Mae Walden, age 72, Maryville, Missouri, passed away on February 22, 2013 at Golden Living. She was born August 7, 1940 in Wayne County, Kentucky to Charles Jennings and Ollie( Tucker) Flynn.

Lenna was united in marriage to James Albert Cummins and one child was blessed of this marriage. After the death of James Cummins she was united in marriage to Everett Ray Walden, Sr., March 3, 1964 in Tennessee and two children were blessed of this marriage. She was a member of Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville. Lenna was the office manager for the Director of Missions In Northwest Missouri for several years. Lenna and Everett were former owners of the Cardinal Inn and owned and managed several properties in the Maryville area.

Lenna was preceded in death by her parents Charles Jennings and Ollie (Tucker) Flynn in Somerset Kentucky, first husband James Cummins and second husband Everett Ray Walden, Sr., brothers Frank Flynn, Estel Flynn, James Flynn, John Flynn, Arvel Flynn and Chester Flynn, sisters Zada Shadoan, Ida Hollars, Pauline Flynn, Anna Lee Flynn and Hattie Colyer and daughter Lisa Mae Walden of Kansas City, Missouri.

Survivors include brother Bobbie Flynn, Kentucky, son Douglas Cummins and wife Theresa of Maryville, Missouri and Everett Ray Walden, Jr. and wife Cindy of Salem, Missouri, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-6 PM, Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, February 26. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville.
