Ellen Smith
1935-2013

Ellen Smith, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born April 14, 1935 to Winford W. and Stella Mae (Abbett) Bear in Wathena, Kansas.
She married Clifford A. Smith, Jr. on June 28, 1957. He preceded her in death on August of 1998.
Earlier in life she was an excellent tennis player and equestrian and enjoyed her flower gardens. Ellen was a very caring lady who took pride in taking care of her mother in her later years. Mrs. Smith was of the Christian Faith.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: sons, Todd Smith (Mickey) and Perry Smith; granddaughter, Lauren Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
