A 62-year-old St Joseph man is being held without bond on charges of molesting a young girl in his care who was less than eleven years old.

John Lawrence is charged with one count of child molestation in the first degree.

According to court documents, Lawrence molested the victim on numerous occasions over a one to two year time period.

 

Arraignment is scheduled Tuesday morning. A judge ordered Lawrence held without bond because he poses a continuing danger to the victim.
