1931-2013

Owsley, Robert obit photoRobert T. “Bob” Owsley, 81, Albany, Missouri died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at a healthcare facility in King City, Missouri.
He was born April 20, 1931 to George and Grace Owsley in Preston, Missouri.
Robert married Helen M. Gentry on May 7, 1954. She survives of the home.
Bob was a member of Gentryville Baptist Church, George Washington Lodge #256, A.F. & A.M., and is a Korean War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Owsley and Ruth Glor; brothers, Bert Owsley and George Owsley.
Survivors: wife; daughter, Deborah Jeffries (James); sons, Jerry Owsley (Pam), Dennis Owsley (Jennifer), and Michael Owsley (Julie); nine grandchildren, LaCinda Ennis, Jim Jeffries, Casey Patrick, Heather Owsley, Shawn Owsley, Clint Owsley, Darian Owsley, Jakki Owsley (Chris Shiflett), Jacey Ramsey (Taylor), and Dakota Owsley; great-grandchildren, Addie Jo Owsley, Tripp Shiflett, Brantley Jeffries, and Kaden Patrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Owsley was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. A Memorial Service is planned for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, First Baptist Church of Albany. The family is requesting that all memorial gifts be made to the building fund for First Baptist Church of Albany, King City Manor, or Hands of Hope Hospice. Jessamine Wallace Hegarty
1934-2013

Jessamine Wallace Hegarty, 78, Kansas City, Missouri died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born August 7, 1934 to Dr. Charles Hodge Wallace Jr. and Bickley Elizabeth (Smith) Wallace.
She married Roger Allen Hegarty, July 24, 1957. She was a graduate of The Barstow School in Kansas City, Missouri and attended the University of Arizona, where she was in the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
Jessamine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Charles Hodge Wallace III.
Survivors: daughter, Blair Hegarty, Overland Park, Kansas; sons, Cort Hegarty (Tracee), St. Joseph, Missouri and Hodge Hegarty, Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Chase, Hunter, Morgan, and Lily Caudill, and Nick, Sarah, Lane, and Halle Hegarty; cousin, Bickley Bayer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many, many good friends.
A private memorial service is planned. The family suggests memorial gifts to be sent to the Noyes Home and Children’s Mercy Hospital. Care provided by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
