Ann Lieppman
1922-2013
Ann Lieppman, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence.
She was born to Herman and Ida (Wienschienk) Rothenberg.
Ann married Gerald on March 7, 1943.
Although Ann was a housewife and mother, she co-owned The Carpet Center on Frederick Avenue. During WWII, Ann was a LINK Trainer at what is now Rosecrans Memorial Airport.
Ann was a member of the Temple Adath Joseph Sisterhood, Hadassah, and B’nai B’rith. In 1975, she won the Moila Grandmothers Golf Tournament.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors: son, Michael Lieppman, Deephaven, Minnesota; daughter, Liessa Lieppman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Aaron Hinkle, Kyle Lieppman, Mara Lieppman, Lauren Lieppman; and great-grandchildren, Maisy and Julian Hinkle.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Phyllis L. Thompson
1944-2013
Phyllis L. Thompson, 68, Mound City, Missouri died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
She was born April 27, 1944 to Philip and Marjorie Crist in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Phyllis married Arthur Thompson on August 28, 1963. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1992.
She was preceded in death by her husband; mother; and sister, Marsha Wright.
Survivors: father; daughter, Marjorie Taylor (Samuel), Holly Springs, Mississippi; two grandsons, Jacob Thompson and Keota Taylor; brothers, Philip Crist (Linda), and Gary Crist.

Paul Alma Hansen, Sr, 87, Skidmore, Missouri died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, Missouri.
He was born November 20, 1925, in Lamonte, Missouri to Thomas and Vivian Bailey Hansen.
Paul married Velma Peter March 25, 1944 in Troy Kansas. She preceded him in death January 5, 1999.
On June 5, 2006 Paul and Donna Cummings were united in marriage in Troy, Kansas.
A lifetime farmer, Paul was a member of the Sam Albright American Legion Post #5ll, Skidmore and was a past president of the Nodaway County Farm Bureau.
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, son-in-law Jackie Lee Appleman (September 15, 2008), two brothers: Keith and Kelmer (Roberta) Hansen and sister Thelma (Charles) Johnson.
Surviving are son, Paul Hansen, Jr (Marjorie) Maryville, 2 daughters, Sherry Flanary (Paul), Maryville and Jean Appleman, Bella Vista, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Cora Hansen Donahoo, Cole Camp, Missouri; 2 step-sons: Rick (Mickie) Cummings and Kent (Cindy) Cummings; 2 step-daughters: Jackie (John) McGee and Julie (Todd) Evans, all of Hamilton, Missouri;
Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 pm Wednesday, March 27 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday, March 28.at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
Memorials may be directed to the Skidmore Methodist Church or SSM Hospice.
