Weekend winter weather contributed to a few crashes in Northwest Missouri.
Jordan Farrell, 17, of Osborn lost control of her Chevy Blazer along US-36 west of Cameron shortly after nine p.m. Sunday.
The vehicle slid off the highway and overturned.
Farrel, and her passenger 19-year-old Dodge Mailes of Cameron, were taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
State troopers described their injuries as minor.
A Clearmont, Missouri man suffered moderate injuries after a rollover crash Sunday morning in Nodaway County. State troopers say 46-year-old Marvin Farnan lost control of his Chavy Tahoe on a slick stretch of US-71 highway north of Clearmont. The vehicle slid off the highway and overturned shortly before seven a.m. Sunday. Farnan was taken to St Francis Hospital.
A crash on I-29 north of St Joseph sent three people to the hospital shortly after 9pm Saturday. Investigators say Marvin Cerros of Rogers, Arkansas lost control of his vehicle along the interstate at Route-RA, about 12 miles north of St Joseph. The Isuzu Axiom careened off the highway and hit a concrete barrier. Cerros was not hurt, but three of his passengers were transported to Heartland with minor injuries.
