The Missouri Western women’s golf team finished 3rd at the Upper Iowa Invitational firing a two round total of 631 (311-320) at the Preserve Golf Course on Rathbun Lake. The Griffons finished behind Augustana (S.D.) and Concordia St. Paul.

The Griffons were led by freshman Amber Chivington with a two round total of 156 (76-80) while Natalie Bird finished with a 157 (76-81). Callie Willson fired a 158 (80-78) whle Anna Kloeppel finished with 161 (79-82). Casi Webb rounded out the scoring with a 162 (81-81).

The Griffons take part in the Green and Gold Classic on Sunday, April 14 and Monday, April 15. The teams will play the first round at the St. Joseph Country Club while the second round will be played at Mozingo Lake Golf Club in Maryville, Mo.
