Nevada M. Heinz, 96, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born March 4, 1917 to William and Mary Bennett in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Nevada married Elmer W. Heinz on March 15, 1958. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1989.
She was a member of Wyatt Park Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, M. “Dean” Knox in 1954; parents; son, Larry Dean Knox; brother, William; sisters, Jay, Leona, and Willie.
Survivors: son, Ronald Knox; grandchildren, Jeremy Knox, Scott Knox, Kollin Knox (Laura), Kara Eaton (Tom), and Kristi Miller (Faron); and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00
