Heartland Health announces that The Spa At Northpointe will close June 21.

In the announcement, officials cited both poor financial performance and the need for space to expand the Heartland Clinic Comprehensive Family Care facility nearby.

Currently, six physicians and three nurse practitioners are practicing at CFCC.

Officials say additional space will be needed to add more providers.

Heartland is working closely with the three full-time caregivers affected by the change at The Spa, to redeploy them into other position opportunities within the organization.

The Spa at Briarcliff will honor The Spa at Northpointe gift certificates as well as VIP card member benefits. Current gift card holders as well as VIP members will be receiving further details on how to redeem those items and services.
