The projected weather forecast has forced a change in the schedule for the MIAA Softball Championships.

The tournament will now begin on Friday, May 3 with the first round games getting underway at 2 p.m. and second round games at 4 p.m. from the Blue Valley Recreation Complex in Overland Park, Kan.

The schedule for the second day will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4.

The final day which features the championship and if necessary game will now begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 5.
