It took about three hours for St Joe police to arrest a suspect in the robbery of the Academy Bank inside the South Belt WalMart.
Captain Matt Rock says they got a tip that a known suspect liked to gamble, and they found him at the St Joe Frontier Casino.
Captain Rock says the suspect entered the Academy Bank at about 9:45 a.m. Monday.
He pointed what was described as a semi-automatic handgun at a bank employee. He presented a demand note and received money.
The suspect then fled in a white PT Cruiser, which was seen in surveillance video.
Detectives got a tip that took them to the parking lot of the casino, where they spotted the PT Cruiser.
The located the 65-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man in a common area at the casino. He now faces federal bank robbery charges.
